About Us
The Agrofood project has started with the editions 1993, 1995 and 1997 of the Italian Agricultural Food and Beverages Directory with the sponsorships of the Italian Ministry of Agricultural Policies (1993-95-97) and the Representation in Italy of the European Commission (1996).
Since the first edition, the director has collected a wide attention of the Italian media and, on 1997, it has received the acknowledgment of public interest, from the Italian Parliament (read the translation).
Agrofood Italy - already considered the first portal of the Italian agricultural and food-processing best practice, freely accessible on Internet since 1999 - following the indications of the Italian Parliament, it has decided to assume a dynamic role in order to the internationalization of the Italian agro-industrial small and medium enterprises (SMEs), offering them a range of services on demand.
A team of specialists in differerent fields, such as: trade (Sergio Magrin), customer cure (Antonio Curci), Internet applications (Federico Amato) and the Agrofood project manager (Luciano Minoletti), they put their professional experience at disposal of the Italian agro-industrial SMEs, through the " Enterprises Area" section.
